The main objective of my work is to explore the fragility of the human condition. Weakness is seen as part of human existence and treated as inherent. Sensitivity and weakness are qualities intrinsic to humanity but which are generally concealed. Who wants to be weak? Do we have the strength to show our feelings? Do we have the courage to show our vulnerabilities? Iron is treated as a substance that is not necessarily strong or durable. In my work extremes of materials are exposed and amplified. Even the strongest can be vulnerable.
