Horny

The Horny series consists of fifteen horns made of different materials. They are horns that can be worn like pendants on the body and they illustrate the diversity of masculinity and comment on gender norms. Some features question our confined and conventional understanding of masculinity.

The purpose of my work is to investigate masculinity through jewellery. I consider the interface between horns and masculinity through gender studies and also the relationship between men and jewellery.
