Simultaneously visible and invisible, material and ethereal, objective and subjective. Lightness and weight are now added to the paradoxical topics I explore. I work mainly in stone, cutting it so that it is sometimes admired, contemplated and at other times explored, penetrated. Light, transparency and translucency are retained as a reminder of the relativity of our certainties. I choose to work with impressions.
Exploring the limit of the material and the idea of creating by removing, I have achieved a point where the voids become an essential presence. The results and the effect question the limits of impression, memory and reality. To reveal themselves the pieces invite us to move.
