My jewellery is about communication. Communicating with our inner self, with others and externalising emotions without words. Emphasising and materialising a feeling, an emotional state, feeling its weight, its colour, its texture, its matter.

I like challenges, to question things, and my way to express this is through material. I am researching the limits of stone; its resistance, tension and fragility. How much can I manipulate a stone before it breaks apart? I do not want my pieces to break, just as I do not want to fall off a cliff, but I like to play at the border because to live is to renounce security, and it is this that makes us feel truly alive. Let’s allow ourselves to feel intensely, to take risks. Risk is a must if we want to feel alive, and there is no risk without fragility. In the end, it is all about love. To love others, life, feeling alive. We are all fragile.
